Description

• CRIO, a fast-growing clinical research technology organization, is focused on revolutionizing clinical trials with advanced technology and data analytics. • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Business Development to lead our growth initiatives, drive strategic partnerships, and expand our presence within the sponsor and CRO markets. • As the Director, Business Development, you will be instrumental in acquiring and retaining new pharmaceutical and CRO clients, focusing on top-tier sponsors and large to mid-sized CRO prospects. • You will work closely with our executive team to craft and execute a strategic business development plan that aligns with CRIO's vision.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. • Experience: 5-7+ years in business development within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research industry, with a proven track record of closing complex, multi-year SaaS engagements in life sciences. • Proven Success: Demonstrated experience selling to pharma, biotech, and/or CRO organizations, with a record of success navigating multi-functional decision-making processes. • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with experience developing go-to-market strategies for new products and services. • Excellent Communication Skills: Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills, capable of building lasting relationships with key stakeholders. • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the clinical research landscape, the eclinical market, and emerging technologies. • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects, driven by a passion for advancing clinical research.
