Working at Cytiva means being at the forefront of providing new solutions to transform human health. • The Biacore Sales Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for the sales of Biacore instruments and consumables. • You will work in tandem with a Biacore Field Application Specialist, who provides advanced technical support and training to customers, including running customer demonstrations. • You will own the sales funnel and lead complex sales negotiations for high value capital equipment. • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. • Manage leads and prospects using Salesforce Lightning customer relationship management software. • Prepare and participate in business reviews to ensure accurate flow of information within the sales team and sales management.

Requirements

• Experienced at managing a field sales territory, working regularly with customers in the field, including excellence with funnel management, prospecting, and sales negotiation. • University level degree in a Life Science related discipline, with the capacity to learn the fundamentals of Biacore technology. • Ability to travel is essential since the role is customer-facing with 60% of time in the field. • Be able to communicate with a customer-centric mindset, to balance the needs of the customer and Cytiva. • Self-starter able to manage time to organize and prioritise workload, with tenacity hunting for new business, managing sales prospects, and closing business. • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Working in cross-functional teams. • Travel across a large sales territory, since this role covers half the UK plus Ireland.
