Description
• Oversee all accounting functions related to property management • Provide leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals • Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in accounting • 5+ years in property management or real estate • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Minimum of 8-10 years experience applying GAAP principles in real estate or property management setting • At least 5 years working with property management or real estate regulations • 5+ years of hands-on experience with property management-specific accounting software • Proven track record of using advanced Excel functions for 5+ years • Familiarity with tools that automate repetitive tasks in accounting with at least 2 years of experience • 5+ years leading process improvement initiatives ideally within an accounting function • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and financial strategy
