β’ As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing our enterprise customer base. β’ Build, manage and close your own pipeline of companies. β’ Manage, and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts. β’ Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers. β’ Lead and contribute to team projects that develop our sales process. β’ Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
β’ 4+ years closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets β’ Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale β’ Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of an analytics organization (individual developer up to CTO) β’ The diligence and organizational skills to work long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams β’ Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment β’ A passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community β’ Experience with SQL or willingness to learn β’ Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced software β’ Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt
