Description

• Support HUD OCIO as primary point of contact for project-related issues. • Lead project execution across all phases to meet performance standards. • Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization for timely delivery of project tasks. • Ensure compliance with HUD OCIO’s security and regulatory requirements. • Monitor ticket tracking system and manage escalated issues. • Manage operations support for HUD systems ensuring uninterrupted functionality. • Facilitate system maintenance activities and address technical issues. • Ensure comprehensive records of project activities are maintained. • Prepare and submit monthly project status reports to HUD OCIO. • Coordinate regular project status meetings with HUD stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar. • Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing complex IT systems and resolving technical issues. • Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy regulations, with a focus on compliance for secure systems and sensitive data. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices to support HUD’s modernization efforts. • 5+ years of experience managing IT Modernization and Enhancement projects valued at $1 million or more per year, including developing project plans in Microsoft Project and following those project plans through to successful completion with minimal cost or schedule variance. • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis/workflow improvement. • 5+ years of experience working with systems with business intelligence reporting tool capabilities. • 5+ years of experience working with waterfall/agile framework/methodology. • 1+ year of experience working with financial systems. • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce, custom development (including Java), cloud environments (including AWS and Azure).
