β’ You will be working closely with the Sales and Business Development teams and take ownership over major aspects of our GTM and lead generation efforts in New York. β’ Work collaboratively with sales and business development leadership to execute and improve our GTM and outreach strategy in NY. β’ Attending industry events in NY to expand our brand awareness and pipeline. β’ Build relationships and establish partnerships to drive pipeline in NY. β’ Manage inbound prospects and drive new leads though outbound calls/emails to targeted accounts. β’ Do discovery calls with prospects to gauge their interest in Distru. β’ Master the tools we use in-house (e.g. Hubspot) and implement new tooling. β’ Maintain accurate data in Hubspot. β’ Test different outreach methods (email subject lines, value propositions, etc) to find the best ones that work for you. β’ Inspire prospective customers to adopt Distru. β’ Set and accomplish clear daily & monthly goals with the team. β’ Be able to successfully reach and exceed quota after 3 month ramp period.
β’ Experience in the cannabis industry β’ Min. 1 Year previous experience as a quota-carrying sales representative or in a partnerships, events or lead generation related role β’ Comfortable with networking and being the face of the company at events β’ Comfort on the phone, strong email writing skills, and happy to handle objections β’ A good sense of humor and desire to have fun β’ Previous CRM experience, Hubspot is a plus β’ Ability to fully grasp and understand the supply chain
