• The Director, Retail will play a critical role in shaping our retail presence, driving sales growth, and building strong relationships with retail partners. • Reporting to the SVP, Brand and Commercial Partnerships, this new role will guide an emerging capability team at AG1. • The Director, Retail will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive retail strategy that aligns with our brand vision and leverages our existing DTC success. • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, an in-depth understanding of the supplement industry, and a passion for health and wellness. • We are seeking a strategic thinker, adept at developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, improve customer retention and ensure operational efficiency with our retail partners. • Working in a growing team and in a high-growth organization, the successful candidate will bring forth strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or commiserate experience. • 8+ years of experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Proven experience in the health and wellness or CPG brand is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and consumer behavior. • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment. • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving. • Outstanding ability to define goals and prioritize team’s work in an evolving and fast-paced environment. • Ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on execution. • Natural demonstration of ownership, growth mindset, continuous learning and improvement. • Adaptability and speed in a high growth environment. • Acute attention to detail and accuracy with desire to take ownership in a results-oriented environment. • Team player who can steward the core values of AG1 with strong ethics, integrity and a no-compromises approach to quality work. • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
