Description

• This position can be 100% remote. • Dynavax develops and commercializes novel vaccines for infectious diseases. • The Senior Director will lead policy and government affairs for Dynavax in the US market. • Support vaccination efforts for in-line and pipeline portfolios. • Engage in economic, political, and fiscal research to inform policy strategies. • Drive vaccine policy agenda at Federal and State levels. • Identify strategic policy risks and opportunities. • Build and lead the Dynavax US Policy & Government Affairs Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Professional degree in Public Policy, public health, public administration, or economics, political science, or law strongly preferred. • Minimum 10+ years of demonstrated success in public policy arena and/or government. • Minimum 5+ years of account management experience calling on national payers and PBMs preferred. • Deep knowledge of US vaccines landscape and related political affairs, healthcare environment, and policy systems. • Strategic and innovative thinker. • Strong business acumen with the ability to act on complex issues. • Demonstrated ability to set strategic priorities, bring together internal stakeholders, and move an agenda forward. • Well-established relationships with key decision makers across government and payers. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage numerous competing priorities under pressure and collaborate effectively. • Occasional travel required.
