• E2 Optics is an award-winning, Woman-Owned technology integrator, headquartered in Denver, Colorado. • We help clients deploy remarkably efficient solutions that are modern, turnkey, and minimize operational costs. • We design low voltage solutions that seamlessly integrate audiovisual, physical security, structured cabling, and wireless solutions, including DAS and WiFi systems. • Our experience spans Enterprise and Government clients within the Energy, Finance, Health Care, Higher Education, Manufacturing, Media & Communications, and Transportation industries. • Our Core Values, which are built around Safety, guide our business, employees, and relationships with customers and partners. • We embrace these values to be a better business and better people, while having fun in the process. • As a result, we've set a new standard, and our clients have made E2 Optics one of America's largest and fastest-growing companies. • The National Estimating Manager will lead a team of on-site and remote Structured Cabling Estimators responsible for E2 Optics Commercial line of business. • The National Estimating team is responsible for developing cost estimates including (Components & BOM’s, Labor, Project Allocations, Tooling and Safety) for the installation of structured cabling projects. • Estimators will create and write proposals to deliver a profitable job which meets or exceeds customer requirements. • The National Estimation Team will focus on projects related to Commercial type of projects, consisting of (Airports, Healthcare, Education facilities, MDU’s, office Space, Building Complexes). • The team will also coordinate pre-construction activities, such as sales to project management and deployment transitions.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required • Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree is preferred • RCDD is preferred • Knowledge of general building codes and BICSI Standards • Minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience estimating large scale (1M+) new commercial construction • Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience managing team of estimators or equivalent Low-Voltage engineering functions. • Proven Leadership aptitude, with the ability to manage, train, mentor and develop team growth. • Defining SOP’s to help ensure smooth communication and collaboration with Sales and Operations. • Estimating Structured cabling projects for Airports, Healthcare, Education facilities, MDU’s, office Space, Building Complexes • Auto CAD / Bluebeam experience • Advanced knowledge of Division-27, ISP and OPS standards. • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.), MS Project and Auto CAD. • Must have the proven ability to design, engineer, estimate and develop a written and graphic representation of the company’s proposed solutions utilizing the software resources provided by the company. • Ability to understand and effectively quote every aspect of the structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross- and interconnections, and testing. • Proficient with reading and understanding blueprints of building floor plans and construction designs. • Knowledge of data infrastructure industry including technology, quality and safety standards. • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments. • Knowledge of the PMBOK Guides and Standards. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting. • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance. • Effective performance management skills. • Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary. • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude. • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position. • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player. • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others. • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. • Impeccable problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated detail orientation. • Demonstrated and effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong ability to work in teams and foster confidence in all.
