• Drive business through cold calling, pipelining, and closing business initiatives in Food & Beverage Vertical. • Collaborate with Marketing, Inside Sales, Regional AM’s and VMM to coordinate interrelated projects. • Manage large (multi-million) dollar programs (and/or sub-projects) in the vertical. • Assess customer product needs and partner with Rittal’s field sales team for full scope product solutions. • Keep management informed with monthly activity-results reports and territory analyses. • Monitor competitive publications and gather marketplace information. • Develop annual business plan and coordinate its implementation. • Identify marketing opportunities within vertical for Rittal.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, business management, or business administration. • Equivalent sales experience (10+ years). • Business development in electrical/automation is a plus. • Food and Beverage experience required. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Proficient and detail-oriented with CRM. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills. • High energy, initiative-taking, and goal oriented.
