• Responsible for analyzing commission data, customer information and carrier documentation • Analyze and resolve payment, statement, and system discrepancies • Prepare operational deliverables and identify process and system improvements • Perform daily reconciliation and application of carrier commissions • Research commission payments, statements, and system discrepancies • Analyze complex carrier documentation to ensure accuracy • Initiate and track various commission tasks • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual operational deliverables • Complete internal and external audits to support SOX testing • Write and maintain procedures related to process, analysis, and reporting functions • Facilitate carrier calls to address open items • Review carrier commission statements and membership reports for data improvements • Support department leaders on special projects and workflow improvements
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance or related field or two+ years equivalent experience • Experience in cash reconciliation, accounts receivable, and collections in an operational role • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail • Ability to work in a fast paced and mission driven environment • Prioritize appropriately, work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word • Ability to create vlookup formulas and other formulas for analysis and review functions • Prior experience with data analysis, trending, and management reporting • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and experience with auditors on internal controls testing preferred • Prior experience in the insurance or healthcare industry regarding payment or collection of commissions preferred
