• A degree in the life sciences or equivalent industry experience. • Proven sales/business development experience with a track record of achieving goals on a quarterly and annual basis. • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods. • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management and customer service skills. • Ability to set relevant goals and execute in a fast-moving startup environment. • Experience with managing a sales pipeline and translating that into a revenue forecast. • Strong working knowledge of the synthetic DNA market, how it is used across the biotech industry and the players in this market. • A self-starter eager to be part of building a commercial organization that will scale and grow. • An ability to foster teamwork across the growing commercial team. • Located in and authorized to work from the United Kingdom. • Ability to travel to the US for in person quarterly business review meetings
