• Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and cultivate potential clients through proactive outreach. • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with clients for satisfaction and renewals. • Client Consultations: Meet to understand clients' energy needs and risk tolerance. • Continuously Learning: Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions. • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations about energy products and services. • Negotiation and Closing: Address concerns and close sales to achieve targets. • Collaboration with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams for a seamless customer experience. • CRM Management: Use CRM tools to track leads and optimize the sales process.

Requirements

• 3 or more years’ experience in the energy industry (retail gas and/or electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response etc.) or an industry that easily translates. • 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales • Experience identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other channels. • Succeed with a high level of autonomy while embracing a team-oriented sales process, displaying resilience and unwavering determination in pursuit of success. • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, yet independently drive sales initiatives, contributing to both individual and collective success. • Ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit • BA/BS degree preferred. • Ideal candidate will live in: Texas, Illinois, or Ohio
