Description

• Family Promise is the leading national nonprofit addressing the crisis of family homelessness • Responsible for increasing affordable housing units throughout our national network • Provide in-depth support, expertise, and technical assistance regarding housing • Focus on scaling the organization’s housing portfolio including programming and developing units • Create and lead a housing strategy to develop new affordable housing units • Cultivate partnerships with developers and key stakeholders

Requirements

• Commitment to preventing and ending family homelessness • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in areas such as affordable housing development, real estate, working with planning and zoning departments, home construction, or housing programming • Experience with federal funds, laws, operations, rezoning, LIHTC projects • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and leadership skills • Ability to manage competing priorities • Project management skills including the oversight of budgets, timelines, and outcomes • Ability to create and implement a strategy while tracking outcomes and changing course if necessary • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders inside and outside of the organization • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
