• Join a pioneering global leading life sciences company at the forefront of revolutionizing the healthcare industry. • Fapon is an innovation-driven organization committed to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to transform healthcare solutions globally. • As the Sr. Manager or Director, Private Financing & Business Development at Fapon, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the acquisition of venture capital funding for our groundbreaking early-stage startups/incubation projects. • Your strategic acumen and proven track record in securing funding will be instrumental in fueling our innovative ventures and shaping the future of healthcare. • Identify and cultivate relationships with venture capital firms, investors, and strategic partners. • Develop and execute a comprehensive funding strategy aligned with Fapon's innovation objectives. • Lead negotiations and secure funding to support early-stage projects, including CRC, Mote, SMS, and other innovative initiatives. • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, finance, and executive leadership to align funding needs with project objectives. • Conduct thorough market research and due diligence to assess investment opportunities and risks. • Prepare and present compelling investment proposals and business cases to potential investors. • Monitor and manage ongoing relationships with investors, ensuring alignment with project milestones and financial goals. • If the candidate has strategic BD experience and resources, that would be a plus. • The role involves leveraging and expanding industry resources, including third-party LDT business development (BD) contacts, innovative diagnostics companies, traditional diagnostics BD networks, and life sciences companies BD resources, to drive strategic partnerships and financial growth.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field • Proven success in securing venture capital funding for early-stage projects within the biotech or Life Sciences industry. • Strong network within the venture capital and investment community. • (Preferred) MBA or advanced healthcare-related degree preferred • Strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation and communication skills. • Ability to navigate complex financial and technical concepts and convey them effectively to investors. • Experience in due diligence, financial modeling, and risk assessment in investment contexts. • Previous work experience in investment banking, financial advisory, and similar capacities in private equity financing is strongly preferred • Proven experience in strategic business development (BD) and established industry resources. • Strong connections within third-party LDTs, innovative diagnostics companies, traditional diagnostics BD networks, and life sciences companies. • Ability to foster and maintain strategic partnerships to drive business growth. • Proficiency in Mandarin a plus
