β€’ Our client is a leading global life science consulting firm specializing in helping pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies navigate the complex landscape of the healthcare industry. β€’ We provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions to our clients, enabling them to bring life-saving products to the market. β€’ We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Business Development Director to join their team. β€’ As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our client base within the life science industry. β€’ Develop and implement strategic business development plans to generate new leads and opportunities within the life science industry. β€’ Identify and target potential clients by conducting market research and analysis. β€’ Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients. β€’ Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals. β€’ Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to identify new growth opportunities. β€’ Represent the company in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events. β€’ Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD) preferred. β€’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or consulting within the life science industry. β€’ Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets. β€’ Strong network of contacts within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients. β€’ Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific and business concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify client needs and propose innovative solutions. β€’ Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. β€’ Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
