• Fleetio is looking for a Director of Engineering with a focus on the Marketplace and Partnerships areas of our business. • These are fast-growing areas of our organization that need a leader with an aggressive growth mindset, bias towards speed, and leadership abilities to drive the team to deliver outcomes and results. • Fleetio’s Marketplace is a comprehensive platform that facilitates our customers easily finding and purchasing a wide range of products and services essential to their fleet operations. • Our shop integrations allows our customers to efficiently manage external maintenance activities and get insight into service data. • Our Fleetio Pay solution helps Fleet Managers to efficiently manage service work, and provide simple and hassle-free ways to make payments. • We also help vendors keep shop details current and monitor received payments from Fleetio customer transactions all in one place. • A little about us… Fleetio is a modern software platform that helps thousands of organizations around the world manage their fleet operations. • Transportation technology is a hot market and we’re leading the charge, with raving fans and new customers signing up every day. • We raised $144M in Series C in June of 2023 and are on an exciting trajectory as a company. • Fleetio is also a proud founding member of the Rails Foundation!

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams as a Director or as a Senior Engineering Manager • Strong B2B business acumen with deep expertise building marketplace ecosystems and developing partner focused solutions • Knowledge and know-how to build friction free payment systems, gateways and workflows • Prior experience engaging and building relationship with external vendors or business partners as necessary in an engineering capacity • Experience leading teams indirectly by managing managers and driving outcomes • Excellent track record of leading initiatives, managing projects and delivering results • Strong passion and track record of attracting, developing, and retaining engineers • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Be sure to mention "coffee" in your application, so we know you read this
