Description

• Manage customer service accountabilities on a Commercial Insurance book of business • Manage renewal process and negotiate renewal terms for clients • Review renewal business applications and organize submissions to carrier partners • Complete servicing of accounts and prepare proposals • Respond promptly to customers’ inquiries and review policies • Maintain account records and communicate important information to all relevant parties • Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information • Maintain technical knowledge through educational opportunities • Attend meetings and maintain effective relationships with clients and representatives

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License • Resident Property and Casualty Agent's license • Commitment to obtain advanced insurance education • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational & decision-making skills • Experience with Microsoft Office products and agency automation software • Above average word processing skills • Strong respect for confidentiality • Ability to observe safety and security procedures properly • High school diploma or equivalent • 1 to 2 years of commercial or personal insurance experience, preferably commercial account management experience
