• Genetec - Protect the everyday • We are a global Canadian company with a broad solutions portfolio encompassing security, intelligence, and operations. • We serve customers within various industries including transportation, education, and government. • We embrace open communication, creativity, and continuous learning to allow everyone to flourish. • Our global network is made up of diverse individuals passionate about their work. • We prioritize the success and well-being of our employees, proven by our 2022 Internal Engagement Survey results of 4.4/5. • The Account Executive will be managing sales and relationships with existing, but predominantly new, end user customers as well as system integrators, technology partners and consultants in the assigned territory. • The main role is to increase revenues and ensure regular communication with the DACH team. • Develop the assigned sales territory for company products. • Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to partners. • Visit predominantly end user customers/partners/consultants at their premises. • Manage forecasts and achieve quotas. • Identify customer needs, respond to RFIs, RFQs, prepare quotes and write proposals. • Coordinate and facilitate communication with Customers and MRs. • Monitor and report satisfaction levels from customers, integrators, consultants. • Coordinate end user customer, integrator, consultant training. • Update and maintain data in CRM or other applications. • Acquire, maintain, and report adequate knowledge of product, market, and competition. • Stay abreast of the products, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature.
• 5+ years experience in the Security industry with VMS and Access Control • Excellent presentation skills and experience doing client demonstrations • Proven sales achievement / track record within technology sales • Strong knowledge of MS Office • Must have a valid passport / driver’s license • Bilingual communication is an asset • Ability to work in a complex sales environment • Excellent communication skills • Experience in the security industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levels • Must have strong time management skills and be a multitasker • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultants • Able to work independently, within a team environment • IP technology understanding and networking expertise will be considered an asset • Prior SaaS experience • Additional European language skills
