β€’ Job Type: Full-Time β€’ Company: Get Logistics β€’ Work Location: Remote β€’ Get Logistics, a leading national drayage broker for BCO's and freight forwarders, is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the position of Drayage Business Development. β€’ Develop and maintain strong business relationships with freight forwarders, ensuring the smooth movement of shipments throughout the supply chain. β€’ At Get Logistics, we strive to not just provide transportation solutions, but to add value to our clients' supply chains. β€’ We believe in a collaborative work environment where every team member has the resources and autonomy to excel in their roles. β€’ Our company culture is centered on honesty, openness, improvement, and getting things done. β€’ By joining our team, you will contribute to this environment and play a critical role in our mission to exceed client expectations. β€’ Responsibilities: β€’ Identify and prospect potential freight forwarding companies and BCO's to expand the company's client base. β€’ Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular communication and visits. β€’ Negotiate rates and contractual terms with clients and prospects to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms. β€’ Collaborate with clients, operations teams, and drayage providers to create efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions. β€’ Monitor and evaluate performance metrics. β€’ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks. β€’ Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing the company's drayage capabilities and solutions.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales w β€’ Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successful business relationships. β€’ Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal. β€’ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. β€’ Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. β€’ Ability to travel, as required, to meet with clients.
