Description

β€’ The Sales Specialist will play a vital role in qualifying new business prospects. β€’ Focus on fast-tracking revenue throughout the client journey. β€’ Identify, qualify, and nurture new business prospects to support the sales team. β€’ Proactively identify and research prospective leads in target segments. β€’ Reach out to leads via phone, email, and other digital channels to qualify interest. β€’ Maintain accurate and organized records in the CRM.

Requirements

β€’ 2+ or more consecutive years of hotel guestroom sales experience in business transient, crew, and government segments within a select service hotel. β€’ 2 years of experience in a Dual or Area hotel sales role is preferred. β€’ Strong understanding of hotel systems, RFP process, and brand tools. β€’ Proven track record of qualifying new business prospects, meeting and exceeding targets. β€’ Ability to establish and maintain relationships with hotel clients and team members. β€’ General hotel operations knowledge. β€’ Proven experience using a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline and be held accountable for daily activities and follow-ups to track progress within your sales cycle. β€’ Strong ability to use all Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
