• Founded in 1977, GMO is a global investment manager committed to delivering superior long-term investment performance and advice to our clients. • We manage approximately $69bn for a client base that includes many of the world’s most sophisticated institutions, financial intermediaries, and private clients. • The Intermediary Wholesaler will provide a competitive advantage to GMO in the marketing of its investment management capabilities to advisor teams working at select Wirehouses and Independent Broker Dealers in the Central Region. • The Wholesaler will be responsible for building GMO’s business in a manner that is consistent with GMO’s investment capabilities, goals and culture through various efforts including constructing and executing a comprehensive calling plan, driving sales of recommended products, cultivating relationships with key decision makers, and collaborating with the Marketing team.

Requirements

• 3 years of internal, hybrid and/or external wholesaling experience, including a solid working knowledge of the major Wirehouses and IBDs • Strong product knowledge, particularly in multi-asset, equities and fixed income • Robust existing network of contacts • Proven ability to confidently communicate and be an advocate for GMO’s broad investment strategies across a wide range of intermediary clients • Outstanding communication (written and oral), presentation and interpersonal skills • In-depth understanding about financial markets and the ability to clearly discuss investment techniques, strategies and concepts including fixed income, equities and alternatives • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Bachelor’s Degree • CFA a plus • Will be required to pass Series 63, 7 and 3, within specified time frame
