Description

•Founded in 1977, GMO is a global investment manager. •The Intermediary Wholesaler will market investment management capabilities to advisor teams in the Southeast. •Responsible for building GMO’s business consistent with investment capabilities, goals, and culture. •Construct and execute a structured calling plan. •Partner with the Intermediary Business Development team to create new revenue opportunities. •Drive sales of recommended products through regional advisor offices. •Cultivate relationships with key decision makers. •Maintain a strong industry network and solid understanding of the competitive landscape. •Contribute to the growth of GMO’s revenue base. •Collaborate with the Marketing team to curate collateral for the advisor client base. •Provide market information and education on channels.

Requirements

•3 years of internal, hybrid and/or external wholesaling experience, including a solid working knowledge of the major Wirehouses and IBDs •Strong product knowledge, particularly in multi-asset, equities and fixed income •Robust existing network of contacts •Proven ability to confidently communicate and be an advocate for GMO’s broad investment strategies across a wide range of intermediary clients •Outstanding communication (written and oral), presentation and interpersonal skills •In-depth understanding about financial markets and the ability to clearly discuss investment techniques, strategies and concepts including fixed income, equities and alternatives •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail •Bachelor’s Degree •CFA a plus •Will be required to pass Series 63, 7 and 3, within specified time frame
