Description

• The Project Manager plans and supervises a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. • Organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. • Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project. • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations. • Works with project coordinators to ensure equipment arrives to job site in a timely manner. • Performs pull-planning activities with General Contractor, discusses and reviews jobsite readiness with General Contractor. • Hires contractors and other staff and allocates responsibilities when needed. • Communicates and works closely with superintendents for daily updates. • Evaluates and reviews project progress by reviewing and populating submittal logs, cost sheets, RFI logs, change order logs, etc. • Reviews shop drawings and releases custom orders for fabrication via approval of drawings. • Reviews and approves purchase orders. • Requests vendor quotes to compile and issue requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial construction project manager in the Foodservice Equipment Industry • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and documentation, commercial kitchen equipment, and project management principles • Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluemean by Revu, and AutoQuotes • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team • Critical thinking and problem solving
