Requirements

• Thorough understanding of the pet industry, including pet distributors and retailers. • Knowledge of sales management within the retail channel, including market dynamics. • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with focused accounts. • Commitment to ongoing growth and staying updated on industry trends. • Strategic planning skills to maximize sales within the designated territory. • Self-motivated and self-directed individual. • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through skills. • Understanding of how regional chains operate and collaborating with headquarters personnel. • Flexible and adaptable to changes in launching new brands and products. • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. • Required experience: 3 years in the Pet industry selling to retailers at store level. • Required experience: 3 years selling through distributor sales rep. • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or related field. • Preferred experience: 5 years selling through distributor sales reps.
