• Support the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) by managing the program portfolio health • Steer projects to success, ensuring each initiative aligns to business objectives • Manage and develop dynamic program management teams • Monitor and support project schedule health, analyzing risks • Maintain a single, accessible data source for product scope and release dates • Propose trade-offs based on project budget relationships • Identify and resolve strategic and tactical issues affecting the organization • Cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional professionals

Requirements

• 5+ years working on cross-functional large, complex projects simultaneously • 1+ years leading project management teams • Advanced experience with project management principles and, ideally, Smartsheet or similar project management software • Deep knowledge of Project Management Institute’s best practices • Experience working with curriculum content or educational publishing • Demonstrated success in a leadership role building, motivating, and inspiring teams to achieve goals • Ability to manage activities for multiple projects simultaneously • Strong analytic and interpersonal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT), Microsoft SharePoint, or other similar distributed storage and collaboration systems • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills • Sound organizational habits, necessary for successful goal setting, collaborative problem solving, deadline execution, and record keeping • Impeccable written, verbal, and social communication skills needed to incorporate different points of view and present them as a unified plan
