Description

Serve as the first line of support for accounting teams, addressing system-related inquiries and troubleshooting issues. Translate accounting needs into system requirements, configure financial systems, and customize reports to meet business requirements Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support and drive key projects aimed at transforming and improving financial systems and processes while ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. Assist or lead in the planning, execution, testing, and tracking of finance-related projects. Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. Engage with both functional and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into clear and actionable plans. Ensure alignment between project objectives and business goals. Understand current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose technology-driven improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems. Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in project management, supporting business applications Foundational understanding of accounting & finance domains Experience in designing & implementing finance systems full cycle: (e.g. analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support.) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards. Proven ability to think critically and creatively to address complex challenges and develop effective solutions. Ability to quickly learn new concepts, systems, and tools. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and environments. Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners Experience working with Tier 2 ERPs (e.g. Workday Financials, Netsuite, etc) Experience working with Finance applications (e.g. Salesforce, Navan, Zip, Expensify etc) Experience working with Project Management/Ticketing tools (e.g. Freshservice, Monday.com, JIRA, Zendesk etc) Must be based remotely in the United States.
