Description

β€’ Responsible for building a customer base and increasing sales for the company by finding new leads for account managers. β€’ Identifies opportunities for attracting customers, selling products, and retaining relationships with clients. β€’ Analyzes potential growth opportunities within the business. β€’ Identifies, pursues, and acquires profitable business relationships with prospective customers. β€’ Serves as the first contact point with prospective customers to generate interest. β€’ Prospects for new customers through phone calls, emails, and on-site visits. β€’ Analyzes new business opportunities through market research. β€’ Develops marketing initiatives. β€’ Develops leads, conducts pre-proposal visitations, and assists with proposal preparations. β€’ Works with account managers to ensure qualified leads are converted to customers by providing timely and accurate information regarding company offerings. β€’ Attends conferences and trade shows to identify new business opportunities and increase brand exposure.

Requirements

β€’ Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. β€’ Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. β€’ Certification is required in some areas.
