Description
• Responsible for owning the end-to-end accounting process • Building processes and infrastructure for a best-in-class accounting organization • Managing invoicing, monthly close, and financial compliance • Driving current accounting process improvement and validation • Owning accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and monthly close • Implementing strong internal controls and accounting policies • Managing financial reporting requirements, including monthly statements • Leading the annual audit process and maintaining relationships with external auditors • Reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciliations • Overseeing cash management and forecasting • Partnering with the team on budgeting and financial analysis • Staying up-to-date with accounting pronouncements
Requirements
• Earned CPA and public accounting experience • Strong understanding of GAAP and audit procedures • Industry experience managing an accounting department • Exceptional attention to detail and pride in accuracy • Understanding of how accounting insights drive business decisions • Passion for professional financial reporting • Satisfaction in delivering accurate, complete, timely financial statements • Embrace continuous improvement and relationship building in accounting
