Description
• Support federal-focused advocacy and build relationships with government stakeholders • Draft collateral such as talking points and committee hearing testimony • Maximize engagement with trade associations and coalitions • Manage external federal consultants and lobbyists • Help manage political giving and engagement strategy
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Regulatory or relevant field • 12+ years working in policy, government affairs, communications, community engagement, or policy spaces, preferably at fast-paced organizations • Experience in federal government affairs and trade association engagement • Experience launching and/or managing coalitions and/or corporate Political Action Committees • Expert communicator with strong writing and editing skills • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills • Healthcare experience in pharmaceuticals or pharmacy is preferred • Experience working with elected officials is a plus • Experience with media training a plus
