• The Business Development Manager – Transformers Services is responsible for driving the growth of the Hitachi Energy Transformers Services portfolio. • This includes identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining relationships with customers, and closing deals to drive orders growth. • This is a remote role with up to 85% travel. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets. • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives. • Build and maintain strong relationships with Hitachi Energy front end sales and customers. • Understand customers’ needs and provide solutions that add value to their business. • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape. • Use this information to position our transformers services effectively in the market. • Meet and exceed sales targets. • Regularly report on sales performance and business development activities. • Work closely with internal teams (like front end sales, product sales, marketing, and product management) to develop and implement business strategies. • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. • Have a strong understanding of the theory of operation and construction of transformers, current transformers, bushings, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. • 8+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role. • Strong understanding of the transformers service industry and market dynamics. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams. • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. • Ability to travel domestically is an essential part of this position. • Travel up to 85%
