• The primary role is to identify, cultivate, manage and track new growth opportunities for the business with new dealers, developers, commercial contractors and tribal entities. • Strengthening, renewing and creating relationships with builder/dealers, Builders/Developers architectural firms, commercial contractors and Tribal entities. • Promotes and sells product through interaction with builders, developers, commercial contractors and Tribal entities. • Conducts market analysis to identify opportunities and presents strategic plans to execute recruitment plans. • Maintains CRM data and develops KPI’s through reporting and dashboard metrics. • Analyzes customer/builder needs and effectively allocates the necessary resources and sales methods to meet those needs. • Works with Marketing and Inside Sales to help determine the best methods of promotion or sales strategies. • Attends trade/home shows and seminars. • Plans local advertising programs that coordinate with Company advertising and sales promotion programs. • Help builders develop their marketing strategy. • Educates and trains builders on new products and developments. • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained. • Assures that builder accounts are current. • Records and maintains builder co-op advertising accounts in assigned territory. • Provides input and assists with open houses, winter sales promotion programs, selection of option packages, and other company products. • Tracks all house orders from production date to delivery and set. • Communicates expected house delivery dates to builders. • Stays abreast of product knowledge and competition. • Informs builders of new or changed Company policies, procedures, and products. • Informs Company management of the status of each builder’s progress and development and of field problems to permit appropriate corrective action as needed. • Performs necessary sales administration duties such as expense reports, travel and planning reports, and email and communication with builders and customers. • Assists builders and Company with Customer Service and Warranty claims. • Arranges Plant tours with potential customers and home buyers. • Completes weekly report. • Attends Monday sales meetings. • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment. • Performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and sales experience preferably in manufacturing business. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Attention to detail. • Selling skills and strong customer service mentality. • Construction background, knowledge in building products or new home sales is preferred.
