📋 Description

• Grow your career as Business Development Manager within ALG Vacations. • Responsible for representing and selling Travel Impressions and more to the travel agency community. • Develop and enhance strong agency relationships to grow incremental revenue. • Take a consultative selling approach to identify opportunities and execute engagement plans. • Travel required, up to 70%, including sales appointments and trade shows.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university; or three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Travel industry knowledge or experience preferred but will consider other candidates will transferable sales background. • Customer Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. • Marketing – Knowledge of principles and methods for showing or promoting products and services. • Sales Experience – Knowledge of principles and methods for selling products and services. • Ideally, consultative sales experience. • Negotiation skills – the ability to position ALG VACATIONS as a solution to an agency’s needs. • Judgment and Decision-Making – Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. • Analytical Skills – the ability to dissect reporting and take appropriate action to grow revenue. • Good grasp of reading reports, understanding data. • Knowledge of pivot tables a plus. • Excellent communication skills: the ability to write clearly, concisely. • Strong verbal skills – the ability to communicate clearly the benefits of our products. • Strong listening skills – ask the right questions and hear what is important to an agency.
