β’ Prospect and develop commercial sales working with local and regional distributors, and OEMs. β’ Management of accounts will include A/R support activity, recommendation of product and application individually or working with the technical services department. β’ Maintain a regular call visit cycle and report weekly through our Sales Force CRM on-line system. β’ Travel outside of the territory (Sales Meetings, Trade Shows, etc.) will be required. β’ Responsibilities include 50 β 70% travel multi-state and major cities inside of territory WI, IL, IN, MI, OH. β’ Interact with multi-level business leaders and cross-functional support groups to accomplish goals and objectives. β’ Train customers by performing live product demonstrations (end-user and at both Distributor and OEM/factory settings), remote learning, and education presentations. β’ Regular scheduled ride alongs and sales calls with distributor Sales Representatives. β’ Provide direction and management of team of Independent Sales Representatives. β’ Review of sales and lead generation reports to identify market sales opportunities. β’ Report competitive product information and pricing and other opportunities. β’ Perform customer follow-up and 360 sales reviews regularly with customers.
β’ Proven sales record selling to industrial consumers of adhesives and polyurethane foam. β’ Exceptional verbal, presentation, and training skills. β’ 4-year college degree preferred. β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.). β’ Ability to work independently with new and existing clients to overcome typical sales objections (i.e. β price, application knowledge, etc.). β’ Cold-calling success within a territory to both large nationwide clients as well as small OEMs. β’ Candidate must live in the assigned territory, preferably the northwest Indiana area.
