📋 Description

• Communicating the true value of our veterinary diagnostic and technology products and services is at the heart of our IDEXX’s commercial business. • You will work collaboratively with the front-line sales team to build strong relationships, drive IDEXX loyalty and increase diagnostic revenue growth with our customers in your aligned region. • You will engage customers through knowledgeable phone interactions, business discussions and educational opportunities. • Leveraging your selling techniques, you will uncover customer needs to increase product utilization and confirm mutually beneficial next steps to move the sale/ relationship forward. • You will present IDEXX's values to our customers in a professional manner, including an understanding of our industry, veterinary practice, customers, technology, operations and processes. • Focus on a consultative selling approach to help practices grow their diagnostic revenue with IDEXX as a high value partner. • Help build customer loyalty through the effective use of IDEXX products & services including in-house diagnostic solutions, rapid assay and reference laboratory testing in the customer’s practice. • Collaborate with your field sales colleagues to increase the diagnostic utilization and revenue growth year over year in your region. • You will use Salesforce.com to maintain accurate customer profiles and interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• Basic experience in direct telephone or customer face-to-face sales (1-2 years). • Diagnostic sales preferred. • Previous experience managing a sales pipeline highly preferred. • Bi-Lingual (French Canadian) is preferred. • Highly motivated and goal-oriented, while working collaboratively within a team. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Be able to build strong customer and peer partnerships that allow you to gain confidence and trust from others easily. • Ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions. • Effective listening skills that are utilized to discover customer needs to adapt your approach and demeanor to different situations. • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook). • Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market and experience in healthcare or scientific industry is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in a business or scientific discipline is a plus.
