• Responsible for leading the commercial expansion efforts for Illumina’s proteomics product portfolio across Europe. • Drive geographical, market and application expansion to meet financial targets and growth needs. • Develop and maintain strong external and internal relationships to deliver sales and commercial growth opportunities. • Work cross-functionally to identify gaps and business opportunities. • Build processes to define best practices in assessing strategic growth opportunities. • Develop, implement and monitor the regional commercial growth plans. • Provide strategic and competitive feedback to the regional marketing team.
• Significant experience in sales (life sciences or related industries required) • Experience in multiomics and proteomics field (e.g., mass spectrometry, proteomics and multiomics methods using next generation sequencing) is preferred • Experience and understanding of genomic technologies and how they can be utilized in the proteomics market • The ability to evaluate new market opportunities • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; Proficiency in English is a must • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time • Proven ability to lead and influence a broad spectrum of constituents (product management, sales, etc.) with divergent interests to create a defined and focused course of action
