• The Business Development Manager – Electric Actuators is responsible and accountable for all sales activities related to Electric Motion working toward the achievement of related sales budget, goals, and objectives throughout the IA Americas commercial channels. • The primary focus of the market development is identifying and closing key electric motion opportunities while educating IMI sales and distribution on our success for amplification. • The Business Development Manager will have an intimate understanding of customer requirements, develop and refine a robust go to market strategy, and effectively collaborate internally to maximize sales revenue and profitability for IMI. • Travel is required. Overnight stays will be required. Position is home office based. Other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or related field preferred. • 3+ years of technical and/or commercial sales experience or combination of the following: • 3+ years of outside industrial sales experience • 3+ years of inside sales or technical support & application • Commercial and/or technical expertise with electric linear motion products • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook), and comfortable with using a CRM system in your day to day sales activities (Salesforce).
