• Job Summary: • As a Strategic Sourcing Manager (Packaging) at Impossible, strategically source packaging for products. • Manage entire packaging category, develop strategies, and supplier relationships. • Drive cost reduction initiatives and support new product developments. • Develop long-term strategy for the packaging category that aligns with business objectives. • Oversee supplier landscape, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance. • Drive cost management through negotiation and strategic sourcing. • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing departments. • Develop comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation plans for the supply chain. • Identify and evaluate new suppliers and technologies to enhance efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. • 5-7 years of relevant packaging sourcing experience, preferably in food, CPG, biotech, or pharma industries. • Strong negotiation skills and in-depth knowledge of packaging sourcing process. • Ability to solve problems and manage variability in limited standardization situations. • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively. • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships. • Passion for sustainability and commitment to Impossible’s mission.
