β€’ Identify, research, and contact prospective customers to develop opportunities for business growth on behalf of the client. β€’ Develop and execute account plans for top prospects and conduct face-to-face sales calls as agreed. β€’ Build and maintain positive customer relationships to effectively identify their needs, business model, and buying process. β€’ Understand customer needs and priorities to effectively offer solutions tailored by the client. β€’ Gain customer agreement on the differential advantage of solutions provided by the client by leveraging existing data and presenting a strong value proposition. β€’ Handle negotiations in line with the client's guidelines, including payment terms, and assist with accounts receivable collections when necessary. β€’ Drive sales to achieve targets while ensuring customer satisfaction. β€’ Maintain and strengthen customer relationships to generate future sales and repeat business for the client. β€’ Respond promptly to customer concerns on behalf of the client. β€’ Consistently utilize sales processes, tools, and initiatives that support sales and customer value as directed by the client. β€’ Report activities and maintain records through the Customer Relationship Management tool as directed by management. β€’ Produce sales forecasts as required by the client. β€’ Provide proactive support to customers in both the original equipment and independent aftermarket sectors as directed by the client. β€’ Develop and conduct sales training at customer sites on behalf of the client. β€’ Visit customers 2-3 days a week to seek out business opportunities and generate a healthy sales pipeline for the client. β€’ Occasionally prepare for and attend trade shows and industry events on behalf of the client. β€’ Support or lead sales-oriented projects and initiatives as assigned by the client.

Requirements

β€’ College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or relevant sales experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. β€’ Experience in B2B sales of technical products, ideally in the automotive or mechanical engineering industry. β€’ Technical education in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or similar is a plus. β€’ Knowledge of diesel engines and filter systems. β€’ Familiarity with the German market of heavy-duty vehicles and filter technologies. β€’ Understanding of Independent Aftermarket and OEM landscape in On- & Off-Highway market segments. β€’ Existing network in the industry is an advantage. β€’ Fluency in German and English. β€’ Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint). β€’ Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) is preferred. β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. β€’ Strong relationship management skills.
