β’ We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development in the US to drive growth and expand opportunities within the peptide CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) sector. β’ This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in peptide-based products, and the ability to identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies. β’ The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and nurturing client relationships, delivering customized solutions, and ensuring the successful execution of contracts. β’ Identify and develop new business opportunities for the company. β’ Prospect pharmaceutical companies seeking peptide CDMO services to qualify new projects with scientists and demonstrate our professional touch as a world-class supplier. β’ Deeply understand customer needs to ensure accuracy, timely revision, and fair pricing of our proposals to deliver a memorable customer experience. β’ Help build the sales process and record information in the CRM database to enable both peers and commercial leadership across the greater network to communicate and succeed. β’ Provide voice-of-customer to internal partners and continuously build field sales opinions to evolve our value proposition while in startup mode. β’ Local travel to visit customers. β’ Work closely with leadership and cross-functional members of the management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range planning based on current portfolio opportunities and risks, financing needs, and organizational capabilities. β’ Assist in identifying portfolio, financing, and/or organizational gaps and plans for how to best address them. β’ Expand the profile and reach of the company and its brands, and develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
β’ PhD degree preferred with a major in pharmacy, biology, chemistry, or other related fields β’ At least 10 years of field sales or business development experience in CDMO or Peptide companies. β’ Customer dedication to relentlessly seek and distill solutions from complexity. β’ Good knowledge of the CMC and clinical drug development process. β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. β’ Mindful listener and communicator (written and oral).
