β’ Actively develop, execute, and support Sales initiatives. β’ Creating and/or assisting the VP Sales/GM in creating strategic plans, international marketing strategy development, price and product strategy forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting. β’ Customer Account management for sales to all markets, excluding the EU, Canada, and the USA. β’ Acting as the primary point of contact between all international distributors. β’ Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market development, and other key financial performance objectives. β’ Liaise and manage relationships with key manufacturing partners. β’ Providing manufacturing forecasts and creating, implementing, and monitoring sales volume forecasting models, providing such promptly as requested by key third-party partners. β’ Collaborating with the VP of Sales/GM to review sales and activity reports and other performance data to measure results against established forecasts/targets for all international markets, determining areas needing corrective action, cost reduction, and/or program improvement. β’ Actively procuring, researching, and securing new international market distributors. β’ Providing internal and external sales reporting and/or analysis as required. β’ Assisting any internal/external parties to ensure product compliance with international government regulations or policies. β’ Evaluating market trends and providing recommendations for product development. β’ Performing other duties as required. β’ 50% Prospecting/Cold Calling β’ 50% Following up on warm leads from trade shows and other sources.
β’ 5+ years of sales experience selling consumer product goods and developing new distribution channels in international markets is a must-have requirement. β’ Experience selling pet food or related products is an asset and preferred. β’ Ability to speak Mandarin or a second language(s) is an asset. β’ University or College Degree in Business or a related field.
β’ $130,000 to $140,000 Base Salary plus bonuses β’ OTE in the first year is $180,000 + β’ Health Benefits - Company paid β’ Business Related / Travel Expenses β’ Car Allowance β’ Laptop β’ Cell Phone
