Description

• Focus on selling cattle feed and related products • Evaluate existing feeding programs for cattle owners • Conduct educational meetings/events to enhance Purina's brand image • Grow sales and market share through farm gate consulting calls • On farm interaction for animal evaluations and recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired • Previous Sales experience highly desired • Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to Beef Cattle owners • Understanding of cattle husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines • Work/life experience in management and care of beef cattle • Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office, plus ability to be trained on software (HerdSmart, Salesforce) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organization and time management skills • High internal drive and ability for relationship building
