Description

• Focus on cattle, horse, sheep & goat feed sales in Waco, TX. • Evaluate existing feeding programs and recommend nutritional programs. • Conduct farm calls and sell Purina products and services. • Organize educational meetings/events for animal producers and key influencers. • Develop new prospects and make cold sales calls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired. • Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or proven sales and industry experience may be considered. • Previous sales experience highly desired. • Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to animal owners. • Understanding of cattle husbandry, management practices, and nutritional guidelines. • Solid public speaking skills. • Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations. • Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office and ability to be trained on software. • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • High internal drive and relationship-building ability.
