β’ We're hiring a Feed Sales Representative to focus primarily on Cattle, Lifestyle, and Horse feed sales. β’ Selling feed and related products to optimize market share and savings. β’ Responsibilities include making farm calls to evaluate feeding programs. β’ Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for brand enhancement.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired. β’ Proven sales and industry experience may be considered. β’ Previous Sales experience highly desired. β’ Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to Cattle, Lifestyle, and Horse owners. β’ Understanding of Cattle, Lifestyle, and Horse husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines. β’ Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations. β’ Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office, plus the ability to be trained on ration balancing software (HerdSmart), Salesforce etc. β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. β’ Strong organization and time management skills. β’ Ability and drive to make multiple daily sales calls to customers and prospects operations. β’ Ability to network in the industry to put producers together to earn additional business and relationships. β’ Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. β’ Solid public speaking skills.
