Description

• The American Connection Corps (ACC) is a national service program closing the digital divide • The Recruitment & Selection Associate will spearhead regional recruitment initiatives • Responsibilities include managing prospective ACC applicants through the application funnel • Goal is to recruit and place 180+ ACC AmeriCorps Members by Fall 2025

Requirements

• A minimum of an associate’s degree is required, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred • Experience in high-volume recruitment and/or talent acquisition is required • Work experience in nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, or AmeriCorps/other fellowship programs is preferred • Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the local landscapes and devise a strategic plan for regional recruitment • Build and cultivate a diverse pipeline of local talent through recruitment activities, university engagement, and networking • Attract and assist a high volume of candidates as they navigate the application process • Mobilize ACC Members and Alumni to leverage their networks to increase brand awareness • Manage day-to-day operations in systems such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, Asana, and Workable • Ensure data integrity for recruitment activities • Conduct frequent informational interviews and candidate assessments • Maintain communication with ACC applicants throughout the recruitment process • Support the development of a holistic but scalable application process • Extend offers and provide onboarding support for all confirmed candidates
