β€’ Directly works with the Large Format National Accounts Sales team in developing customer focused strategies β€’ Conduct high quality analysis and synthesize multiple data sources to generate category selling stories β€’ Provide actionable strategic category and shopper recommendations to current and potential Large Format retail partners β€’ Help drive creative selling stories, channel strategies, and lead/advance internal reporting capabilities for the Sales teams and Executive leadership team β€’ Lead identification and communication of data driven insights into actionable solutions regarding product, pricing, distribution, placement, and promotions β€’ Utilize research and data analysis, transform data into comprehensible and creative category and shopper centric presentations β€’ Collaborate with Sales team to provide actionable opportunities that are mutually beneficial β€’ Lead category reviews to provide an in-depth understanding of category performance, opportunities, and changing shopper behaviors

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related business field preferred β€’ A minimum of 5+ years of relatable experience in consumer goods, retail, or syndicated data with a focus on Category Management, Shopper Insights, or business analytics β€’ Retailer facing experience with a track record of building collaborative partnerships β€’ Extensive experience understanding and utilizing syndicated data, panel data, and customer POS data (Circana, Spins, Nielsen, and Numerator) required β€’ The ability to refine complex data into simple yet impactful stories β€’ Advanced Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) skills including pivot tables, slicers, and formulas to automate and contribute to reporting β€’ Strong planning/organization; ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, rapid growth, start-up environment β€’ Working knowledge of retailer merchandising and in-store execution tactics to drive category growth β€’ Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides) preferred β€’ Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed β€’ Advanced knowledge of space planning methodologies and software preferred β€’ Expert-level understanding of the Kroger 84.51Β° retailer gateway preferred β€’ Experience in non-alcoholic packaged beverage preferred β€’ Experience across multiple retailer channels (Food, Mass, and Amazon) preferred β€’ Additional analytical experience and competencies (e.g. Tableau, Red Fox Analytics, Microsoft Access, etc.) preferred
