• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to generate new leads and opportunities for our SaaS software solutions in the life sciences sector. • Identify and target potential clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and research sectors through networking, market research, and client referrals. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their specific software needs and aligning our solutions to meet those needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized client proposals, presentations, and demonstrations. • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals. • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements related to SaaS solutions in the life sciences sector. • Represent the company in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our software solutions and build brand awareness. • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue projections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the SaaS or software industry, preferably in the life sciences sector. • Strong knowledge of SaaS solutions and software applications in the life sciences industry. • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients. • Strong network of contacts within the life sciences industry. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and propose innovative software solutions. • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
