β’ The Sales Representative exceeds sales quota within an assigned territory by delivering Acumed product on time β’ Providing high quality technical assistance in the OR β’ Assists in driving market acceptance and adoption of Acumed Products β’ Continuously assesses the customer base to identify new business opportunities β’ Develops a targeted sales strategy for each identified opportunity β’ Executes business plans to identify and close new business β’ Identifies the needs of new prospects and develops appropriate responses β’ Performs field sales calls for assigned accounts and territory β’ Provides accounts with excellent post-sale follow up β’ Communicates with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates β’ Cross-sells additional products and makes new product introductions β’ Drives customer satisfaction and solves customer problems promptly β’ Maintains customer records in accordance with Acumed specifications β’ Drives compliance and principles of responsibility of the AdvaMed code of conduct β’ Works with sales leadership to coach, train, or mentor Associate Sales Representatives as needed β’ Maintains current training in sales skills and product knowledge β’ Actively participates in and attends tradeshows, sales meetings, and promotional activities as needed both inside and outside of regular business hours.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience β’ 1-3 years demonstrated successful sales experience (Preferably in the medical device or industry) β’ 9-12 month Acumed Sales Rep experience preferred β’ Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills β’ Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other surgical personnel β’ Experience in building and maintaining relationships (with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas) β’ Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services β’ Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments β’ Must be able to gain necessary credentialing for hospital access β’ Reliable transportation β’ Credentialing Required: The responsibilities of this position include frequent surgery visits/observations.
