📋 Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with local and regional distributors, contractors, and municipalities located within the territory, creating value, and driving to achieve financial results. • Develop and implement territory sales plans, incorporating key stakeholder feedback, while influencing the efforts of assigned manufacturer’s representatives, distributors, contractors, and municipalities to achieve the territory growth and market share goals. • Establish, maintain, and prioritize a project and distributor conversion pipeline within the assigned region. • Inform the company of business, product, and competitive trends within the region in support of our new product, service, and business initiatives. • Incorporate trends and work across the organization to develop sales tools and promotions focused on achieving new product and financial objectives. • Initiate training and other development opportunities for assigned manufacturer’s representatives and distributors within the territory. • Understand and demonstrate the features and benefits of the full line of McWane Plant & Industrial products, including training others on product usage and applications. • Coordinate activities with inside sales, estimating, production, distribution, engineering, marketing, and finance departments to achieve territory sales objectives. • Help coordinate activities and resolve internal problems that can negatively impact customers, including quality, manufacturing, scheduling, delivery, and billing issues. • Analyze sales levels and trends, and initiate actions as necessary to ensure the attainment of sales objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent industry experience. • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the mechanical, industrial, or waterworks construction industry. • Ability to manage multiple projects occurring simultaneously with a sense of urgency for goal attainment. • Ability to write and execute strategic sales plans and effective sales proposals. • Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively. • Ability to travel up to 60%.
