📋 Description
• Serve as a subject matter expert on credentialing, privileging, payer enrollment, and provider licensing • Advise on privacy and security compliance and best practices • Work directly with regulatory entities and large payers to facilitate compliance • Collaborate with Product & Engineering to embed regulatory requirements into our platform • Assess and advise on legal risks as we expand product offerings • Foster strong relationships with regulatory bodies and large payers • Support the Revenue team by ensuring commercial agreements are compliant • Help position Medallion as a healthcare compliance leader
🎯 Requirements
• JD degree and must be admitted to the bar in the state of residence • 7+ years of total experience, including 2+ years at a top-tier law firm • Preferably 2+ years in a tech/startup environment (preferably B2B) • Experience supporting medium size sales organizations selling to an enterprise customer base • Deep knowledge of credentialing, licensing, payer enrollment, and compliance regulations • Preferably familiarity with NCQA standards, CMS regulations, and state medical board processes • Experience interacting with regulatory agencies, state medical boards, and large payers
