Description

• Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a District Manager in California. • Responsible for continued development and success of their sales rep territory. • Meet or exceed established annual sales and strategic goals for their respective division. • Provide strategic leadership that supports Medline’s corporate strategy to division’s sales team. • Recruit, hire and develop each individual representative in the organization. • Provide formal written and verbal feedback to the reps on a regular basis. • Creating and developing strong relationships with key decision makers in various levels of designated accounts. • Responsible for continual improvement of Medline profitability and rep commissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 5-7 years outside business-to-business sales experience • autonomy and accountability • 2-5 years’ experience managing a team of sales professionals • Ability to sell effectively to different levels within a customer organization • Proven ability to identify, connect with, and close new business • build consensus • Complex sales strategy/approach to sell solutions across multiple levels • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales • Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment • Ability to present multiple product lines • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Stable work history • Computer proficiency especially in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
